Publication Ethics

IJRDO Publications is determined to uphold the best standards of ethics of publication and do everything possible to prevent the malpractice of publication. We have policies that are informed by the principles and best practices provided by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). To provide more specific information, authors and editors can use the official resources of COPE: https://publicationethics.org.

Ethical Management and Accountabilities.

Any manuscripts that are submitted are supposed to be in line with internationally accepted ethical standards. Authors, editors, and reviewers should engage in ethical research, writing, and publication. Any kind of misbehavior, such as plagiarism, fabrication of data, falsification, multiple publication, or unethical conduct of research, is strictly forbidden.

It is the task of editors to assess manuscripts based only on academic merit, originality, and relevance. Should an editor find some possible causes of ethical issues in a Submitted manuscript, the matter will be thoroughly researched and in line with the laid down ethical guidelines, although in situations where ethical approval was already obtained previously.

Handling Ethical Concerns

In case a work is considered to be unethical, the editorial team has the authority to reject the manuscript at any phase of the publication procedure. Under these circumstances, the issue can be sent to the relevant regulatory or governing body to investigate further, where necessary.

IJRDO Publications does not interfere with institutional affairs directly but makes sure that they are relayed to the suitable authorities as required. Authors are supposed to be fully cooperative with any investigations that may be associated with ethical issues.

Responsibilities of Author, Reviewer, and Editor.

The authors should make sure that their work is original, cited, and done in compliance with ethical research practices. They ought to declare any conflict of interest and ensure that relevant approvals (e.g., ethical committee approval of human or animal studies) are received.

Reviewers should be objective, confidential, and constructive in their feedback and may not utilize unpublished information to their own benefit. The editors must ensure fairness, confidentiality, and integrity in the process of peer review and publication.
