It is in fact a review of the parliamentary oversight function during the first legislature, which focused on three main points:</p> <p>In the first, the study shows that the legal basis of the parliamentary control function remains in conformity with the constitution of the DR Congo. Indeed, his articles197 and 198 confirm this state of affairs.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;In the second, the study sets out the means or control mechanisms legally recognized by the Assemblies, in this case the Maniema (oral questions, arrests, commissions, ...) and the related sanctions.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;In the third, the study makes an inventory of the actions carried out in the field of parliamentary control. Indeed, it is clear that the Provincial Assembly of Maniema in the first legislature reached a score of 67 oral questions with debate, 17 commissions of inquiry, 5 arrests and 4 motions including 03 of distrust and 01 of censorship. The school is not only inaccessible because of the direct economic costs (enrollments) and indirect (uniforms, displacements, etc.), but it is also in the inability to answer the needs of the children. The abandonment of the school is a crucial factor that drags the child to discover the life of the street and all dangers that are bound him.</p> <p>In its mission of socialization, the Center Saint Laurent for framing of the children family breaking proceeds by school recuperation, enrolling these children in public schools. In these schools, these children are so much the object of the prejudices on behalf of the teachers that of their colleagues who qualify them, nickname them of the thieving children, of the children accused of the sorcery, of the recovered children, stubborer, impolite, that like brutal games… These children are punished severely by their teachers and other authorities of the school, the interior regulation of the school is observed scrupulously to their consideration.</p> <p>This article shows the attitudes that the teachers of the school Saint Joseph and other pupils display facing the children in family breaking sheltered to the Center Saint Laurent. In this Community, the normal and abnormal or mystical illnesses whose therapists argue exist, it is about the tradi-practitioners, the male nurses and physicians and God's servants. The normal illnesses are treated by the tradi-practitioners, the male nurses or physicians all as God's Servants. The mystical illnesses are called on the other hand exclusively by the traditional therapists by incantations, of the reverences of the forebears, the prayers and convenient divinatory, of the invocations, the port of the amulets, the endoréisme, the holding of the canes, songs and dances. The sociocultural representations of these populations are real, positive and print the real mines of the autonomous medical practices. This ancestral medicine of Topoké people of the Bolombokis obeys the cannons of the customary weights remaining traced to the reality of the very determined cultural environment positively. Case study of selected churches in Nakuru County 2019-11-09T19:13:42+00:00 Doreen Nyamosi <p>African Pentecostal Christianity has seen many phases of expressing spirituality since the European colonial authorities left Africa. Many of the African churches that started during and after colonialism were mainly driven by protest against white domination and fight for independence. It is almost fifty years after the independence of most African nations and Christianity in Africa is now importing foreign traits of Christianity namely, Pentecostalism, whose modern origin is the Azusa Street Revival of 1873 – 1929, in Topeka, Kansas. Pentecostal Christianity and its materialistic approach to spirituality, which defies biblical teaching on the same, have been overwhelmingly embraced in Africa. Pentecostal Christianity, largely an import of American Christianity, has now become a popular expression of spirituality in Kenya. This study focused on the materialism: desire to be wealthy and healthy, as distinctive characteristics of Pentecostalism in Nakuru town. Prosperity gospel was evaluated in light of the teaching of the Scriptures. Churches in Nakuru were selected through the use of in-depth interviews to know what views the prosperity gospel teaching pastors held on success, health and material wealth. Questionnaires were issued to the youth, men and women in Pentecostal churches that have embraced prosperity gospel teachings, to determine their views on the same. The data was analysed with the intention of comparing and contrasting the findings in the field concerning prosperity with the biblical position on the same and found out that there is deception in the presentation of prosperity gospel. Pastors who present prosperity gospel twist the Scriptures so as to make money out of the unsuspecting congregants. Theological knowledge was found wanting among pastors and their congregations.
