Publication Ethics

The International Journal of Applied Science (IJRDO) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and editorial integrity. The journal follows the principles and best practices established by COPE and applies them throughout all stages of the editorial and publishing process.

The journal values transparency, academic responsibility, and accountability in scholarly publishing. Contributions from authors, reviewers, and editorial board members are essential in maintaining high editorial standards and strengthening the overall quality of published research across science, technology, engineering, agriculture, and interdisciplinary fields.

Peer Review Model and Editorial Oversight

All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process, in which the identities of both reviewers and authors remain confidential. This model ensures objective evaluation and minimizes potential bias.

Manuscripts are assessed by qualified subject experts selected based on their expertise and relevance to the submitted work. In addition to scientific evaluation, manuscripts may also undergo editorial review to ensure clarity, structure, methodological accuracy, and compliance with publication standards.

Handling of Ethical Concerns and Research Misconduct

The journal treats all allegations of research misconduct seriously and follows a structured evaluation process aligned with internationally recognized ethical guidelines.

Research misconduct may include:
  • Duplicate or overlapping publication
  • Plagiarism or unattributed reuse of content
  • Fabrication, falsification, or manipulation of data

Concerns raised by reviewers, readers, or editors are examined through an internal review process. Authors may be contacted to provide clarification or supporting documentation where necessary.

If misconduct is confirmed, appropriate actions may include manuscript rejection, corrections, or retraction. In cases where clarification is insufficient, the matter may be referred to relevant institutional authorities.

Authorship Changes and Contributor Responsibility

Requests to modify authorship details are considered only under specific circumstances and are handled according to recognized ethical publishing standards.

Authorship change requests may include:
  • Addition or removal of an author before publication
  • Addition or removal of an author after publication

To process such requests, the journal requires a written explanation and formal confirmation from all listed authors. If agreement cannot be reached, the editorial process may be suspended until resolution.

In cases involving published articles, unresolved disputes may be referred to appropriate academic or institutional authorities for independent evaluation.

Commitment to Integrity and Accountability

The editorial team, reviewers, authors, and publisher share responsibility for maintaining the integrity of the scholarly record. All participants are expected to act in good faith, disclose conflicts of interest, and adhere to accepted ethical standards.

Through these practices, the journal aims to promote responsible research communication and uphold trust within the global scholarly community.
